“We treasure things that are made by time.” - Axel Vervoordt
I work with clients to create a home that embodies them, one that is layered, collected, and beautiful, versus “decorated” – a home that reflects the style and aspirations of the people who live there.
My approach is conversational and consultative rather than prescriptive. Inevitably, this means working side-by-side, poring through design magazines together and spending hours finding inspiration on Houzz, Pinterest, Instagram and countless design blogs. My objective is to really listen and learn how my clients would like their house to look. I look at design as a primarily collaborative process. It must be, because ultimately this will be the place in which my client will live and love for years.
